I have been searching for an easy to use, easy to configure remote access program to use for emergency remote support for the past few weeks and I have finally found it!
SkyFEX’s easy client login (https://skyfex.com/client) allows YOU easy access to gain the tech support that you need to repair your system. All you need is Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) to make it happen.
You will not need to configure your router or mess with your firewall or otherwise enable spies into your system.

Not really of course, but The IT Girl is ready for Remote IT Support!
This means that if you have an emergency that requires me to look at your computer and fix an issue and I cannot get to you at a reasonable timeframe, I can connect to your computer remotely and take over your desktop. There are a few things that you need to be aware of:
1) You must be running Windows XP or higher.
2) You must be able to boot up your system and login with administrative privileges.
3) You need to make your system ‘remote ready’ (read below)
4) You need your computer’s IP address (read below)
Remote connectivity has been around for some time, and Microsoft has an excellent tutorial to prepare you for making your computer ‘remote ready’.
To find your IP address do this:
Start a Command Prompt on a computer that is running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK
Then type: IPCONFIG and press Enter.

Do you ever run into a problem with that new palm pilot that you just bought and now can’t get it to sync with your Outlook? Or, does your new laptop have issues connecting to the wireless internet? Or, maybe you are having severe malware and viruses attacking your system and you can’t get rid of them.
I make housecalls!
(…and phonecalls too, apparently)
Check out the full line of support I can offer you on the ‘Services‘ page.
